中興大學請撤回告訴，重啟協調
百年祖地，就地合法
國立中興大學新化林場（新化國家植物園）在控告原屬新化西拉雅山林部落第一波住戶獲得勝訴後，第二波住戶的訴訟也將在6月29日進入言詞辯論，於近日宣判。西拉雅族呼籲國立中興大學及林場高抬貴手，停止使用訴訟來對付西拉雅人！重啟協商！留給部落一線生機。也懇請關心此案的好朋友，一同前往台南地院，給西拉雅人、第二波被告住戶加油打氣！
對於涉入土地爭議的住戶，興大分以數波興訟。目前第二波住戶，分別為余、哀、穆家，共計五戶。第二波住戶都被興大列為「全拆戶」，興大要求住戶「土地騰空交還」，換句話說，住戶還得自行拆掉唯一祖屋，或被強制執行並由住戶給付拆除費用；其中，余家地目是35戶當中唯一建地，興大勢在必得。另外，哀、穆等三戶則因2009年底興大林場土地實施重測，林場土地突然擴增，哀、穆三家族人這才得知祖居地已意外被畫入林場範圍，無疑是晴天霹靂！
在中興大學透過訴訟提出這些「吃人夠夠」的要求前，哀、穆等住戶都未曾有機會與其協調；中興大學或許自認是「依法行事」的「文明人」，然而，台灣原住民族、西拉雅族的族群正義，正是在這種「文明暴力」下，被徹底漠視、被徹底犧牲了。
國家動輒以國土復育來辦我們，但我們沒有濫墾濫伐，除了我們，沒有人會把興大新化林場當家，過去一旦林場失火，我們救火，跑得比誰都快，因為這裡是我們唯一的家，我們視土地、田園和人們為至親，山林中的一花一木也是我們的愛。
本地西拉雅族人若因此被迫遷徙，整個部落的命運將難以料想：走的人被迫走了，留下來的人也會失去信心，部落將快速萎縮。一旦破壞了部落的完整性，西拉雅振興運動將遭重創，這種傷害無法回復。國家說要扶持原住民族文化，實際上卻不支援留在原鄉的部落，還要把我們從自己土地裡拔根，迫使族人離開世居母土，這深深打擊了願意在原鄉努力的族人。
請國家強權三思地權倫理與歷史正義，保障西拉雅人從清末、日據時代起──在此居住、生活、養育下一代、傳承部落文化的基本生存權。在西拉雅部落文化僅一息尚存之際，懇請中興大學高抬貴手，撤回告訴，支持族人振興部落文化的願望，西拉雅人過去、現在能與林場共生共榮，將來同樣可以！也懇請關心族群與土地正義的朋友們，在6月29日這天到場聲援，支持西拉雅部落振興！也給第二波被告住戶加油打氣！

We are the Siraya people that come from a village in Shinhua, Nine ladder Hills. Our group's name is "Fox's Hills", an ideal name to call our people who live in these particular hills to represent our movement. From time immemorial our ancestors lived in this sacred land. Our fore-parents who established their feet from distant past farmed and walked in this ancestral land. Currently it is regrettable that theNational Chung Hsing University
is claiming this land as its own forcing us to vacate the land where we are now residing. Initially, there are more than 20 family residents who will be affected by this unreasonable action. We, our ancestors and our future generations bring the blessings from God and our ancestors to perpetually live here. Both our old and young "foxes" are determined to protect, defend and preserve our ancestral land and our Siraya traditional territory where most of our people are now in residence. Siraya is undeniably an aboriginal tribe both in ancestry, historical records and under the current law but Taiwan national government has yet to officially recognize it as one. We're calling everyone to support our movement and echo our voices to be heard louder!
